ABOUT US

WE'RE NOT A CONVENTIONAL MOTORCYCLE SCHOOL
OUR NAME MEANS SOMETHING

The TractionWerks Moto Guild name is intended to convey the never-ending quest for improvement that we and our members seek.

Our name reflects a belief in learning as a craft, not a series of shortcuts. Skill is built deliberately, refined over time, and passed on by those who have devoted years to the process. We value patience, precision, and continuous improvement — the kind that shows up not in bold claims, but in how you ride every corner.

Our Guild mentors and helpers all do this - not for compensation - but because they believe we are all contributing to the goal of building a community of better motorcyclists.

PHILOSOPHY

THE GUILD
WE'RE BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF BETTER MOTORCYCLISTS

Think of our coaches as mentors.  Their only interest is assessing your current skills, experience and confidence level and then mentoring you individually on the track and with personalised feedback to get you where you need to be.

We operate like a modern riding guild. Knowledge is passed from experienced riders to committed students, who in time become mentors themselves. This cycle raises the standard of riding for everyone and builds a stronger, safer riding community.

BUILDING BETTER MOTORCYCLISTS

Better motorcyclists are not faster, they're smoother and safer.  Better motorcyclists are competent, consistent and confident - the three pillars of your Cornering IQ.

On track coaching

Building Competency

We break cornering down into the essential skills—vision, line selection, entry speed, smooth inputs, body position, and corner braking—and rebuild them through structured drills. As you move through our courses, those pieces come together fast, accelerating your cornering competency.

Building Consistency

One of the major advantages of taking training like this is having on-track coaching and feedback sessions for each drill.  As you repeat and refine your technique throughout each day, these observations turn good technique into reliable, repeatable habits, creating muscle memory and consistency.

Building Confidence

At TractionWerks, your confidence is earned, by spending time improving on the track, lap after lap. With increased competency and consistency comes confidence from knowing that you and  your bike are able to handle anything a real-world corner can throw at you.
